Schaffa's 2
Earlier this year I customized a 'schaffa's' for the Screamdance schaffas 2 exhibition. All Schaffas were auctioned off with proceeds going to Oxfam's Close the Gap campaign - working towards closing the health gap between indigenous and non-indigenous Australians.
It was a very fun project.
I had my oven replaced a few weeks earlier so I pillaged the ignition switch from inside that and used it and some copper wire to create an arc of electricity that went from the top of the glass dome to the top of the bird skull. My own tounge in cheek attempt at re-animation.
